It’s all about Buttons.

I was at the National Museum area on Friday and Saturday for the Night Festival.
Buttons & The Teng Company performed a couple songs there,
and I totally loved the performance!
The stage was spacious and beautifully set up,
& coupled with the vast variety of performances, it was simply spectacular!

Buttons also had another performance with Wilson.

It was Button’s Teachers’ Investiture Ceremony yesterday.
At first, I was a little worried about being left alone with his friends & family.
We weren’t exactly very close & haven’t talked much yet.
But thank god they were all really nice people, & it’s really easy talking to them.
And we were all very, very proud of Buttons! :D

He was awarded The NIE award & The Association of Nanyang University Graduates Gold Medal.
He is also the Valedictorian & gave a wonderful speech.
Even the Minister of Education mentioned Buttons in his speech!

As Buttons was delivering his Valedictorian speech,
something his Dad did really moved me deeply.

His brother was initially sitting beside me, but he left his seat to record the speech.
& as Buttons was speaking, I  saw his Dad quieting staring down at his phone –
looking at a picture of Buttons’ mother.
It was as if he knew that she is listening to the speech as well.

And the next moment, he tapped me lightly.
And showed me the picture of Button’s mother on his cellphone.

And smiled.

I haven’t spoken much to his father, but what he did really touched me.
So sweet. :)

I went to meet Sindy and Jinhe @ Desker Road after dinner with Buttons.
I found out that Buttons actually have a coffeeshop there!

HAHAHAHAHA!

Buttons appeared on the news last night & in newspapers this morning.
So proud of you, baby.
I should see Benjamin as a positive role model & work hard too!
