Boxing Day. Picnic Day.

My family went on a happy picnic day out on Boxing Day and it was loads and loads of fun!
We were at Pasir Ris Park this time round and I very much preferred this place as compared to ECP.
It was less crowded but there were still enough people to make the whole place feel lively and cheery.
Other than two aunts and one uncle, the rest of the family turned up for the gathering.
There were no Christmas pressies exchanging sessions,
but it was still a great deal of fun just being around each other.

Oh! And I brought Boo too!

If you thought picnics are only fun for the kids, then you’re wrong.
My family is made up with only kids – big and small kids. Hahaha!
Other than food and drinks, everyone brought lots of things to keep ourselves occupied.
Playing cards, board games, bicycles, balls, hammocks, frisbees and even a tiny mahjong set! :p
Suddenly, all the kids were doing the “adults stuff” and all the adults were playing silly games.

But the real fun didn’t begin until we starting playing the “old school games”!
It has seriously been too long since I last played Murderer & Chop Chilli Chop Chilli Chop Chop Chop.
The uncles and aunties all got up on their feet and run around the park with us, doing silly things.
The kids and I (I’m also considered a kid, fyi) also introduced them to newer and more HIP games that we play now.

In short, we spent the whole afternoon hugging trees, kissing each other and raising a ruckus in the park.
Oh! They played soccer too!
But Mom and I decided that we rather spend time lazing around with Maliboo on the hammock. :p

Dinner was a treat from Uncle Randy who got lucky in a recent lottery draw!
Yay! :D
The food at this place called Seng Kee in Kembangan area was really good.
My favourite dish from that place is the fried crab bee hoon. YUMMY!

Buttons and I also had the chance to visit Kay Lee to whack some of her roasted duck again the other day.
I decided to camwhore against this pretty pink wall found at some random back alley. Hahaha!

Picnic Day!

I also met up with my Primary School classmates again earlier this week.
I really enjoy meeting up with them and we all think this meetup should be made into a monthly affair.
Other than Priscilla and Grace, Magadalene turned up too! Yay!!
We did a little exchange of presents as well. :)

Just for the fun of it, here’s a picture of us some 13 years ago!

I’m wearing this dress from Kidz Under Cover.
It can be wore as a dress but I tucked it into my pants and wore it as a top.
Pretty! I like it a lot! Heh. :p
Here’s two more pictures of Grace and I to end off the post.

  2. Hi Peggy!

I like your black Prada bag! Is it the executive tote? Do you still remember how much it costs? Anyway I’m going to Beijing and can’t wait to go to the places you recommended :)
