Atlas Laser Rejuvenation.

with 22 comments

We have all been waiting for my Botox review!
I took the Botox treatment about 3 months ago at Atlas Medical™ Laser & Aesthetics Clinic.
And I finally went for my Botox review two weeks ago. MAN!
I was really impressed when I saw the BEFORE / AFTER pictures put together!
My face has became more symmetrical and very much smaller!

(Pardon my blur looking face)

BEFORE / AFTER (Botox)

I also received the Atlas Laser Rejuvenation!

And it was really great giving my skin a good treat over the weekend.

“Using Q-switched Nd:YAG laser, laser rejuvenation helps rejuvenate the skin,
stimulate collagen and refine pores.
Appropriate for those seeking treatment for discoloration, wrinkles,
sun damage, acne scars, or other types of imperfections in skin appearance.
The treatment is safe, effective, and convenient, giving satisfying results with no downtime.
You can expect radiant, glowing and healthy skin!
The treatment includes a facial cleanse and a shoulder and head massage.”

The treatment, also nicknamed 黑头娃娃 is just made up of 3 simple steps.
Dr Yuen will first apply the carbon all over your face,
and start firing the Qs Nd:YAG Laser, blasting the carbon layer away eventually.

The thin layer of carbon enables better absorption of the laser, and heat is being produced.
This process enhances the stimulation of collagen.
The final result? Improved skin appearance and radiance!

Complexion is instantly more radiant, and it will continue gaining more radiance over time.
Just couple days after the treatment, I observed that my skin is really much smoother.
And putting makeup is so much easier now – it just glides on on its own!
Discuss with Dr Yuen what you wish to achieve with your laser treatment,
so that they can advise you on the various strength of the laser available.
Whether you’re worried about acne scars, pigmentations or wrinkles,
they can always come up with something suitable and helpful to you.

Dr Yuen was friendly as usual and I love the staff there who never fails to make me feel so at home.

And thanks to Atlas, here is a promotion for all SIXPEGS readers.

Enjoy Atlas Laser Rejuvenation at only S$268 nett.
The usual price of this treatment is S$550, so it’s really a steal girls!
The treatment lasts 75 minutes, so call 65560829 to make an appointment if you wanna pamper yourself.

Plus, the first 10 SIXPEGS readers to take up Atlas Laser Rejuvenation

“Rose-2 is a clinical skin care system developed Dr Yuen to

    • hmm not sure about the age limit also.
      call them and ask?
acne scar removal should be fine.
they got various levels of intensity for the laser also.
you need to discuss with them so they can tell you which level to use, etc. :)

  4. hi,

does the botex jab need to be taken ev few mths??

or one time & the effect last forever?

    • botox just relaxes the muscles so that they won’t be used at all.
and since they’re not used, the muscle mass will decrease, and become smaller.
after the botox effects wear off, once you start exercising these muscles again,
      they might become bigger again.
i think the effects will last quite long but definitely not forever.
those AFTER pictures are taken around 4 months after my botox.

  5. Hi,

U look fabulous after the treatment! the laser promo seems like a good deal after some comparison with the other aesthetic clinics.. Do u see instant results after the laser treatment? I was thinking of doing it for CNY..

    epunie

    January 22, 2010 at 11:07 pm

    • You need to give it few weeks to months to show. optimal result is at 2 months.
if you wanna do it for CNY then you should go now!

    • Hm.. abit confused..

Peggy, were you refering to botox or laser for the 2 months..?
Cause you mentioned in your entry that you saw some results few days after laser..

I’m actually considering fillers. Did you happen to ask anything about that? Or anybody else reading this has got any advice? Just want a little higher nose bridge :p

      Chantel

      January 23, 2010 at 11:36 pm

    • Botox is the one that shows optimal effects after 2 months.
      Laser effects are immediate! :)
      Fillers sound cool too.
They have it at Atlas, so you can call to get them to quote you if you’re keen. :)

    • Thanks.. I probably will give them a ring..

To Jay: wah!! every other month… that’s gonna make a person so broke… could it be just top-ups?

if it’s the full injection, hmm kinda scary to be reliant on it..

short term indulgence to see your face smaller is ok lah, same to fillers…. but long term… ermz…

  7. Actually i heard from a friend whose aunty has been doing botox since she was like in her twenties.

She advised against doing botox cos initally the duration is like 6mths, now she needs to do like every other mth to maintain.

  9. Hi Peggy,

may I know approx how long will the radiant last after the laser treatment? Is the above ‘after’ pic taken after the treatment? It looks brighter, wonder is it due to different lightening when photo taken. Thanks! :)

    • hmm the radiance is immediate, last about maybe couple weeks?
i think the lighting affected a bit also. my face is not that fair in real life actually. but it generally looks brighter and smoother.
